This new 48-room hotel was conceived with a strong design narrative, rooted in the rich historical context of the local community. At the heart of the concept was the ‘Ember story,’ a thematic element that shaped the overall design direction. Every aspect of the hotel, from its striking exterior to the finely detailed interiors, drew inspiration from this narrative, creating a cohesive and immersive guest experience.

The exterior design was influenced by the forms of local street vendors and topiary, connecting the hotel’s modern presence to the vibrant energy of the surrounding neighborhood. This conceptual continuity extended to the interiors, where thoughtful design choices enhanced the guest journey.

The project was developed on a narrow footprint—ten townhouses in a row—with the challenging goal of achieving 12 rooms per floor. Despite spatial and budget constraints, the design maximized the internal guest experience, blending functionality with creativity to create a distinctive boutique hotel environment.
